We had the pleasure of completing these floating shelves for our client in their kitchen. We were able to order 1 3/4” thick prefinished shelves from Solidwood Interiors, which included concealed steel brackets with the capability to hold over 150 pounds!

Main project goals:

• Install two floating shelves in empty space to finish their kitchen renovation

• Requested to be thicker than standard shelves, with concealed brackets

• Must hold substantial weight to allow for heavy dishes and bowls to be stacked on top

• Complete in tight timeframe during the holiday season with minimal disruption
